Greensboro Opera Youth Opera Camp is a special program designed to offer campers the opportunity to prepare music, design costumes, and build sets for a special presentation at the end of the week. The camp experience teaches children and teenagers about opera through singing, dancing, acting, and performance.
Specially chosen arias and scenes are led by professional opera artists with the highest caliber of instruction. The camp is intended to educate and inspire youth across the community and build confidence, character, and special bonds with other like-minded youth.
The annual GOYO Camp has taken a hiatus for the summer of 2025 as we continue to explore other musical experiences to offer youth in our community.
