Suzanne Kantorski (Mimì) returns to Greensboro Opera after her appearance as Nedda in GO’s 2019 production of Pagliacci. She has been hailed as “an opera lover’s dream diva” (Addison Independent) and is an award-winning performer known for her “lively and engaging” (The New York Times) interpretations and “exquisite, striking vocals” (Fanfare Magazine). Ms. Kantorski’s recent engagements include Nedda in Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci with Savannah Opera and Opera Orlando, the latter a production Opera Wire hailed as one of the “Top 5 Must-See Operas in North America.” As part of the Orlando production, she also sang the soprano role for their double-bill with Stravinsky’s Pulcinella. Her fall season continued, as she sang the title role of Tosca with the Opera Company of Middlebury to top critical acclaim. To end 2019, Ms. Kantorski made her Lyric Opera of Chicago debut in December as Franca in The Light in the Piazza by Adam Guettel.
